I guess i have a very basic question for you. I have a LBR iiwa 14 R820 and an external computer with a Kinect v1 to monitor the robots environment. My task is to write a program that switches the robot into a collaborative safety mode every time a human is detected entering the robot cell. I am looking now for a way to get the data from my laptop to the robot. I have done some research about UDP connections, but I am an absolute beginner in Computer Science as I am a student of Mechanical Engineering. Unfortunately there I haven't found any instruction for creating such a connection in the robots manual as well.
Does anybody have a good example or instruction on how to do that? I would appreciate any help I can get.
