Do I need to worry about write cycles on the Ram disk?

I am storing some data on the Ram disk. My understanding is that this can either be DRAM or SRAM. For DRAM I should be fine, but I am unsure whether or not I would need to worry about frequent (every cycle) writes to SRAM.
