Hi, I know that the topic of configuring the DSQC 652 I/O module with IRC5 drivers has already been discussed on the forum, I even found a few videos showing how to do it:
How to set up I/O on an ABB Robot with an IRC5 Controller Box
ABB IRC5 DSQC 652 Digital IO Setup
But in the document the author mentions that it only works for standard versions of the driver (not for Compact). and this is where my problem comes in because I have an IRC5 Compact (IRB 910SC robot). I have already configured this module in the IRB140 robot, but this time I encountered problems. Maybe because it is the Compact version of the controller?
The 652 module is installed and connected to the controller. The module address according to the jumpers is 10. I checked the connection between the DNet output of the controller and the input to the 652 module - it works.
In Configuration ->I/O System ->DeviceNet Device I added a new device
then in Configuration ->I/O System ->Signal I added a new output signal
Unfortunately, after restarting the controller on TP and Robot Studio, I receive the information 71311: Unable to establish communication on the DeviceNet network
I checked other addresses (because in Abb DSQC 652 the Device address is set through the NA0-NA5 inputs, but you have to read the address from NA5 in the NA0 direction!), I checked the logical states and on the module in the NA0-NA5 inputs the logical states match the jumpers (does the logic of DSQC 652 is 5V? I have 0V or 5V depending on whether the jumper is connected to GND or not. It's probably not a problem because in another robot that works properly I also have 0 and 5V)
Has anyone managed to configure with a compact version controller?
